1) 日米の現場で培った私の哲学 1. Philosophy Cultivated in the U.S. & Japan

私のコンサルティングの原点は、2007年にボストンの地で抱いた強いフラストレーションにあります。当時、米国本社の意図が日本支社に正しく伝わらず、日本の専門性が「情報伝達係」として埋没していく現場を目の当たりにしました。

父との対話の中で、「信頼とは単に仕事を任せることではなく、長期的な成長を支えることである」という確信に至りました。文化の壁を口実にするのではなく、一人のリーダーがいかに誠実に信頼関係を築けるか。この「修行の時期」に学んだ教訓が、現在の私の戦略的視座の土台となっています。 The origin of my consulting approach lies in a deep frustration I experienced in Boston in 2007. I witnessed a disconnect where the U.S. headquarters' intentions were not accurately conveyed to the Japanese branch, reducing highly specialized Japanese talent to mere "messengers."

Through conversations with my father, I arrived at a conviction: "Trust is not simply delegating work, but supporting long-term growth." Rather than using cultural barriers as an excuse, it is about how sincerely a leader can build trust. The lessons learned during this formative "training period" form the foundation of my current strategic perspective.

2) 「感動の連鎖」への挑戦 2. The Pursuit of a "Chain of Inspiration"

ユタ州のスタートアップに入社した2013年、激動の組織環境の中で私は「本当の幸せとは何か」を自問しました。その答えは、映画を見て涙を流すような「感動の連鎖」を仕事を通じて起こせるかどうかにありました。

「大きな志を持ち、小さなことにこだわらない」。この精神を胸に、私はゼロから研究チームを立ち上げました。人を育て、情熱を維持させ、適切な目標を与える。技術の背後にある「人間の感情」を動かしてこそ、真のイノベーションは達成されると信じています。 Joining a startup in Utah in 2013 amidst a turbulent organizational environment, I asked myself, "What is true happiness?" The answer lay in whether I could trigger a "chain of inspiration" through my work—akin to being moved to tears by a great film.

"Hold grand ambitions, and do not sweat the small stuff." With this ethos, I built a research team from scratch. Nurturing people, sustaining their passion, and providing appropriate goals—I firmly believe that true innovation is only achieved when we move the "human emotions" behind the technology.

その後シリコンバレーに代表されるメタといった世界最高峰の企業との関わりの中で、私は「作る人の想い」をいかに言語化し、定量的なデータとしてプロダクトストーリーに埋め込むかを追求してきました。

利益や成功は、純粋に人を驚かせる技術へのこだわりの結果に過ぎません。10年、20年先を見据えた長期的視野で技術開発に取り組むこと、そしてリーダーが自我を捨てて安定した環境を部下に提供すること。グローバルな競争の最前線で学んだのは、こうした「技術に対する誠実な想い」が組織の成否を分けるという事実でした。 Subsequently, working with world-class companies like Meta, I pursued how to verbalize the "creator's passion" and embed it into product stories as quantitative data.

Profit and success are merely the byproducts of a pure dedication to technology that astonishes people. Committing to technical development with a 10- to 20-year horizon, and leaders setting aside their egos to provide a stable environment for their teams—what I learned at the forefront of global competition is that this "sincere passion for technology" dictates the success or failure of an organization.
